Looking for an all purpose English saddle for Bella, nothing fits her so I'm not sure what tree I'm looking for, but probably a medium wide or a wide. The seat needs to be around a 17. A cut back would probably be a huge help. Even if I could borrow someone's saddle to try on her so when I ordered it I would know its the right size?
Thanks for any help!

Do you have a budget? That will affect what saddle you should try/buy of course! No point trying something thats outside the budget!
Your best bet is probably to try something with an interchangeable gullet: wintec, bates or thorowgood I think has them these days.
All three are beautiful saddles- Bates is the only leather one tho and will run you between $2000 & $3000 unless you can find something used!
Good luck!

Another thought .... try contacting Carmen at Bakers Saddlery.
He can usually look at a photo and then tell you what size saddle you need and/or what other padding or extras might help! Carmen is the bomb dot com!
Altho I would suggest that if you're going to ask for his help, you should intend to buy from his store!

Mine has a huge cutback, but it's a narrow tree.

Thanks guys! I do not really have a price range in mind at the moment it would help a lot if i could sell my collegiate, then I would have a bigger budget to work with. I would definitely need to try on the type of saddle before I ordered one for myself, I can't keep ordering saddles that don't fit, obviously.

Are you no longer buying Collegiates at all? I have a medium-tree Collegiate Finalist you could try on for fit. I'm not selling; as it's my baby. But it has a fairly nice cutback due to my high-withered horse.
I'm sure other people in the area wouldn't mind letting you try on various brands just to figure out a fit.
