Phoenix had a very serious reaction to a vaccination. The trip into the US required a round of shots I was not willing to take a chance on. I was planning on leasing one of Clinton's horses, but they had just changed their policy and only if you come from overseas can you lease one of his horses. At that point Katrina and I worked out a private arrangement involving Butter for six months. Both Phoenix and Butter had completed the clinic requirements of Fundamentals and Intermediate groundwork and riding and were qualified for the clinic.

That's terrible, sorry to hear. I've heard of that happening to some horses before. I would have done the same thing and not taken the risk.

Yah, Clinton like Parelli is not a specific discipline. They are about thinking like the horse and putting the horse first. Doesn't matter what you ride! That's why when people ask me what discipline I ride now I just stare blankly. I love Clinton and Parelli!
