So I decided I should start one of these for Champ. Even if you guys don't post or read it, I would like something to keep track of our progress. So I got him July 21st I believe and he was lame. First we thought it was his shoulder, then we just weren't sure. Then I got his foot checked and he had a bruise. We weren't sure if it was abscessed yet but for precaution we poulticed it for 4 days. Yesterday I took it off and he didn't limp. Today I believe I'm getting shoes put on him and then HOPEFULLY I can ride! He is also gaining weight nicely still. Ill be riding him western until I get a english saddle. He is a bombproof trail horse but I don't know if he has ever even been in a arena before so I soon need to get started!
He was great! Not a lame step the whole time! I was extremely excited the whole time, kinda like the night before Christmas! His ears were all up and he was looking around and he was loving it. I love my pony
