I do belive we only have a few on here atm that come here on a day to day basis. Most don't have time or just gave up. Very sad when you think about it, even the mods gave up...

I agree.. I have my own board and have enough moderators that have access to delete if anything gets heated......I find sometimes here it does take awhile before something is removed.......

I tend to leave things for a day or so to see if people are mature enough to sort it out on their own, if not, then I lock or delete. Id rather see people work it out and behave themselves then have every single post on the forum locked or deleted!

It also indicates that it is being looked at on a regular basis. |

I agree with us maybe needing another one, HOWEVER, because of all the things that have happened in the past, I think certain people should be "nominated" and then voted on, by the MEMBERS of the forum, not just because they're friends, or popular with certain individuals who hold power.

If we get another mod...Ill probably be the one picking...it's not a popularity contest, it has to do with ones maturity level and how productive they've been with regards to giving advice, helping others etc.

and if we vote on it that could become a bad idea because if one person does not got any votes then they could think every one hates them.and it could turn into a big fight I Emily should decide the way she said above.

I did think of that, however you can do polls where no one but the original maker can see the results. I suggested the voting, because it would give the members a chance to pick who they thought would represent them well. However if one individual can choose someone to moderate then it would have to be someone responsible enough. I have enough confidence in Emily that she would choose someone acceptable in this situation.
