So i already made one back in 2008 but i want to make a new one and delete the old one. but i don't know how haha. anyways, i know i've owned Bella for 3 years but i just wanna start one . so i'll just introduce Bella again for those who don't know her:
Name: Bella (Bella Vista)
Age: 10
Breed: Quarter Pony
Color: Dark bay
Height: 14.2
here are a few pictures of her:
So Bella originally was english, which i think was a disaster haha. when i bought her, she always raced at the jump, bucked and reared litterly ALL the time. scared the crap out of me. every time i rode her large around the area she would take off and she would be so strong i would have to do the emergency halt!
one year after i got her she finally stopped bucking a rearing. she still was a ittle crazy at times but mostly was good. i jumped her sometimes but was more interested in dressage.
two years after i got her i started to do western lessons on her with Erin, my coach. i liked it alot so i switched over. BEST DECISION EVER.
now , three years after i bought her she as improved immensely. she turns on the haunches (working on spins now) , does flying changes over all good, stops when asked (still working on sliding, she has sliders on now, but with studs so in the summer i can work alot on her slide), jogs and lopes slowly, and keeps her head down while doing it and speed changes. i am so happy with her change since i first got her, all her western work is from me, no trainer just the help of Erin. I love Bella to death and can't wait to start showing in the summer again!
Sorry for the book! haha i had a lot to write.
Anyways,
March 18th, 2010
Today i had a lesson at 4-5. we worked on flying changes, spins and leg yeilds. Bella was great! she got most of her changes and her spins we really good. then we worked on pleasure one-handed at the walk, jog, and lope. she was very well behaved!
i will update next time i ride!
