actually ernie has been getting use to a saddle since he was 1 years old. hes done awesome with his ground work, with riding and doing his bowing. just with the word 'bow', he bows. what a boy!!!

I went up to see the 2 new lambs that were born this morning soooo cute ! Then I went out a caught ernie gave him a good brushing hes really starting to shed now : ( .Right now where working on getting him back in shape so we did some lunginf troting for 5 walk for 5 and we did that for about 30 min and he did alot better then i thought he was gonna he didnt sweat as much as he usually does and it didint take to long for his breathing to go back to normal ether: ) after that we worked on some leading again the I turned him out for a few hours while I did some work around the barn and visited the lambs again ^_^ the I caught him again gave him a quick flick tack him up english for a change went out to the round pen and just worked a little on transitions, stoping and backing up took it easy on him where I was already working with him that day. and that pretty much it!

So today I used side reins when I lunged him and it worked pretty good that I know of I found he was picking up is hind legs and bring them in under him more and he rounded out pretty nice although I think I could of hade them a little tighter im starting to add more time on to each time I lung him cise he not as out of shape as I thoght he was he was just really fuzzy on a nice day !:PHe was being stuborn today though when I was lunging him he didint want to stop or slow down so I let him keep on going for a while and eventually he wanted to stop for me after that I gave him another good grooming with the shedding blade and threw him back out in the pasture then did some more barn work for a while, Later on I tacked him up and we just rode around the round pen totting over poles and small cross bars worked on transitions , stoping , slowing ,backing up !

I keep on forgeting about this little fill we have been pretty much working on the same stuff Sadly no arena :/

But the summer he went with me to Circle Square Ranch for 12 weeks ish. I was going to do alot of work with him but he got himself hurt twice first by winston he bit is back/but so had to wait for that to heal so it wouldnt rub and then some how , no clue he manged it ended up getting a HOLE like a inch deep at least buy a inch wide circle on his upper hing leg on the inside so I didn't ride him for 4 or 5 weeks.
He also got his first set of shoes on ! which he did really good with for his first time , i was proud
When he was out there it was his first time riding in a arena and he was so good and willing ! And Jane power help us with some jumping He is pro at bounces now!
And when he left CSR we moved barns, Hes now in morleys sidding at walt youngs. HUDGE peace of land it goes forever.

and thats been pretty much it hes also going to be making a big move out to sask with me within the next 2-4 months ( depending on when ever I get out there ).

Haha and stacey we will get lots the weekend !
