Embarr Stables - a reputable equestrian facility, located at 131 Cochrane Pond Road in the Goulds- wants you to join us at our very first Christmas Musical Ride themed to Christmas music to get you into the Christmas Spirit with a little help from our equine friends! The Horse and Pony Protection Association (HAPPA) of Newfoundland and Labrador is the only organization in Eastern Canada that provides care for horses in need. Their organization is a registered charitable organization, which operates the Hopeall sanctuary from donations. Their budget is lean and all funds raised go directly to providing care for their unwanted, neglected, abused or injured horses and ponies of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our main goals for our fundraiser is not only to help out HAPPA, but to educate the Newfoundland community about the Horse Scene in Newfoundland, and to have them become involved in the recreational sport that we call riding. Horses can become a part of your life in a matter of moments, as they radically change our lives; therefore, we'd love to share our magnificent sport and animals with those who don't have the privilege or knowledge. The tickets are priced as follows: -3$ for children under 10 -6$ for adults STARTING AT 3 PM Pony rides and pictures with Santa to follow! If you wish to learn more about Embarr Stables and HAPPA the websites are: www.embarrstables.com/www.happanl.ca/index.htmAny changes will be posted immediately! Looking forward to seeing you all there!!

I didn't know it was going to be on the news. Does anyone have access to the news segment? I went on the NTV website but couldn't find anywhere to look for it. And did anyone tape the show today? How did it go? (Can you tell I wish I was there?!)

The Musical went great! Tammy my parent's taped the news segment, next time you're in town you can take a loan of it. All of our riders did a FABULOUS job riding, and we had a good turnout! It was a lot of fun, and I have to thank everyone who helped out today! Thanks to HAPPA for coming out and educating the public, we really enjoyed having you guys! Pictures should be posted soon! Thanks again everyone, and happy holidays

I'll take you up on that offer Danielle. I plan to be in town on Tues from 4-7 and can either pop into the barn or meet you somewhere if you're available. Let me know!

What an awesome day/evening we all had. The Musical Ride was great and all horses and riders did an excellent job. The Christmas party later in the evening was loads of fun as well. I hope someone can post a few pictures on here.
