Cape Breton Western Riders Banquet

I had the time of my life in NS this weekend!!! I was treated like a queen when i was there! I rode Bueno both fri. and sat. and also an amazing quarter horse that is out of "Jays Flashy Jack" Toby! I attended the Banquet and when i was called to accept my award there wasnt a dry eye in the room. I recieved a beautiful plack with my name and a thank-you from the MacQueen family! I had told Ashley about "Hopeall" at the end of the awards there was an anouncement that they would be donating a generous cash donating for me to bring back to Hopeall!! I will be going out this weekend to give the donating to Clifford. I would also like to report that Bueno is doing amazing, I fully enjoyed riding him under saddle and bridle.I didnt know how well trained he is. He has a leaser that is so in love with him and he adores her back. They will be competing in barrels and other classes next spring!I would like to thank the MacQueen family for showing such amazing hospitality and to Kelly Vickers for telling Ashley where Bueno was! I have been invited back next year and will be going. I also visted some of the most popular barns spending most time at Mona Louis's RedWood Stables! I will be posting pics(once i find the cord for my computer)

If anybody is interested in donating to Hopeall i would be more then happy to bring it along with me just pm me Thanks!!!

Are you sure it wasn't a"Jays Flashy Jack" offspring? He's Mona Lewis' former reining QH stallion which is still at her barn (or at least he was, haha).

I will be going out to Hopeall on Sat. to meet with Dennis! I will be brining along a very generous donation from the Cape Breton Western Riders of 300.00:o!!! I am also looking into having a piece written up in the Compass.

It just goes to show that if people in NS can care about our horses here on the Island we should get the word out and help Hopeall out for the long winter.

From what i was told Hopeall will most likely be full by the end of the weekend!!!:0
