Prize money 1st –3rd place.
1st place gets 50% of class entry fee
2nd gets 30% of class entry fee
3rd gets 20% of class entry fee
The more people that enter a class the higher the prize money
Placing 1-6 place
No ribbons except for Walk- Trot/Jog 14yrs and under & Lead line
Entries Due by Sunday July 26 or a $20 late fee is applicable
WHAT IS R.E.A.L. RIDE?
R.E.A.L. RIDE is an event that Clovelly and Future Strides have created to support the Real program that benefits many children throughout the city. R.E.A.L. PURPOSE is to provide recreation and leisure opportunities through the provision of program and financial assistance to as many children and youth as possible who, due to financial circumstances, are unable to participate in registered activities.
R.E.A.L RIDE is an event where riders maneuver their way through a course of obstacles and tasks. This isn’t your regular trail class. It is open to Western and English riders.The event is timed. If a rider fails to complete an obstacle or task they will receive 4 faults. The rider with the fastest time and least faults is named the “R.E.A.L. RIDER”This is a money class. The entry fee is $20. Half the money goes to the real program and the other half goes in the pot for the winner. The more people that enter the more you could win and the more money there is for a great cause.
About Future Strides
As horse people, we already know the difference that horses can bring to a person’s life. We wanted to bring this amazing experience to the public. At Clovelly we have started a new initiative called Future Strides. Future Strides is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing horses to the lives of people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to benefit from this unique form of recreation. Future Strides also works to fund raise for existing charities using horses to create a difference for other people.
