What a handsome boy! I love his colouring, is that type of colouring something that is common in his breed?

Sabrina- his coloring is called chocolate with flaxen mane... it is the most common/popular color for the rocky breed. They can come in tonnes of different colors (and variations of those colors) though, like cremello, palimino, buckskin, silver buckskin, black, bay, blue roan, red roan, etc. They are a real genetic treat!

Yup! It is mandatory that a rocky gait in order for them to be registered. From what I hear, he has a very nice gait as well.

Glad he got here safe and sound! Charismatic- to be registered with the Rocky Mountain Horse Association the horse needs to demonstrate its gait and be DNA tested, among other things. It is a fairly stringent process.
