OK, another silly question! When on trail rides, do you have to worry about kangaroo's spooking the horses.

um i dont know if horses get spooked my the kangeroos. i havent really been on a trail ride here. and her canter is smooth but not as smooth as the horse i rode at bayview stables in nfld. but maybe it will be smoother when i ride her more. and thanks for all the comments.
Question: whats a word for like " most beautiful" .... if that makes sence...?

ya i dont really know what i mean. ok so im at school any my horse was supost to come today but it got stuck in the mud cause it was rainning so now its coming tomorrow. so ill post more stuff on the weekend. |

ya Sara got here like last week so ive riden her a few times but its been too wet cause its rained alot here and it arena we ride in flooded... so sad
im going early so i can clean her stable and make her look pretty tomorrow morning then in the afternoon im riding her. and early i me geting up a 6 and being on the bus at 6:45... but im used to it now...
i dont think shes settled in riding yet cause shes always going like fast than slow. but ill bring a crop tomorrow just so she can see it than she might go faster.... or she might not be settle cause both times i rode her it was rainning and really wet. hopefully it won't be like that tomorrow...

I wouldn't use a crop to "make her go faster"..it's not what their techincally for. By the sounds of it you will need to learn how to half halt, and control her stride with your body. It'll take time and lots of work..but its better then taking the easy way out.

ya i ended up not using one and she was fine.. but i was in like the jumping arena doing trot polls and stuff... she freaked out a few times cause like there were noises , and when we were walking back up to the stable like all the horses freaked out cause next store to us we there was like a guy with a chainsaw or like weed wacker or something with a motor and all the horses freaked.. good thing i wasnt on her back. im going early tomorrow just to brush her a clean her stable.. boring but at least were getting to know each other  |

I'm sure she just needs time to get use to her new home and her new human! Horses are very smart if she'll probably try and test you to see how much see can and cannot get away with for the next little while! Good luck |

yup shes tested me, i was jumping her yesterday morning and i havent riden her the day b4 so i guess she was fresh so she like had energy for a bit then died... didnt move at all. but i got her to go over some jumps and it was good. i found out that she likes jumping better than she likes flat dressage work. thats good cause i like jumping better than flat too!
