Okay I had another lesson today and it was really fun because the snow was up so high and we got to ride bareback We didn't do much today because it was freeeeezing ! First we walked around abit and did some halt transitions then some trot. After that we switched horses and I rode Brandy. we did pretty much the same thing on them. Then Emily asked us if there was anything else we wanted to do and I said that I wanted to fly off Brandy into the snow So Emily started to flick snowballs at Brandy so he would go faster and when he was trotting pretty fast I flew off face first into a snow bank and I got COVERED in snow It was fun and hilarious P.S. Pictures in Picture Place !

I had my lesson on saturday and I rode Josie.. she was pretty good! We warmed up and then we walked and trotted over poles for abit.. then was fun for a change especially since half the time when me and Josie would trot over the pole she'd jump it .. then we did a coarse at a walk and ran out of time before we could trot it.. But we did trot the pole a few more times. It was fun!

I had my first lesson with Maria today! She's awesome! (you were too Emily ) Anyway.. I rode Dante and he was good! A bit crooked but still.. not as bad as he sometimes is. The best part was that when I went in to get him he stood completely still! I was soooo happy! He pinned his ears for a second when I was walking over to him and when I got him but still he didn't move so that was good Anyway.. on to the lesson. After putting on two front polos we warmed up by doing some circles and some halt transitions and then we did some posting trot. Dante was being lazy but I wasn't helping because I was hitting the saddle pretty hard and without realizing it I was pulling on his mouth . Anyway we worked on 20 m circles at a trot and getting them round. We also worked on going from sitting to posting trot and getting the right diagonal After we did some more of that we cooled out bareback and then took off our polos and then brought them into their paddock, took off their bridles and let them go free! Dante was good when I put him back too! This was the first time I actually brought him into his paddock (I usually unclip him by the gate and let him walk in) since he kicked me so I was a bit nervous but he was fine More next week !!
