OMG how hard was the kick, are you okay? hes so saucy sometimes but ya gotta love him  How did the new boots feel? Anyways you gotta have some bruses from horses..glad you had had a good ride ! |

Sorry i haven't updated in awhile but i've been busy.. in my last lesson i rode Dante and he was really good but the arena was a mess ! There was about a foot of snow with one path all the way around But it was a really fun lesson ! First we warmed up by just walking around and doing a little bit of trot then we played around the world a few times and rode side-saddle for abit and that was fun.. then we rode backwords ! First Emily lead us around but then she let us go on our own.. Dante walked about half way down one side then decided to leave the nice bet down path and cut right across the arena in the foot of snow haha.. that was fun too though After that we went bareback and did some more trot and cooled out  It was a really fun lesson ! |

haha thanks Stace Anyway I had my lesson yesterday and I rode Brandy It was a really fun lesson ! First we warmed up for awhile by walk-halt-walk transitions and abit of trot. Then we worked of leg positions at a walk and a trot because when i ride my leg always slips ahead, and then we finished of the lesson by cantering Brandy was being stubborn at the first of the lesson and wouldn't trot without the crop but towards the end of the lesson I got him to trot and canter without using the crop I got to canter twice and I was about to go again but I had to leave early because I had a brithday party.. It was really fun anyway though and the arena was actually good ! |

I had another lesson today and we got to pick who we rode.. I picked Dante ! We warmed up by doing walk-halt transitions and some trot. Then we tied our reins in a knot and practiced steering just with our legs for awhile. Then we trotted again untill there was about 10 minutes left of the lesson. After that we took off our saddles and cooled out bareback Dante was being really good the whole lesson! I was really suprised because when I got there Jenny (a girl in the lesson before me) told me that he was really crooked and he bit her, so I expected him to be saucy for the rest of the lesson but he was really good for me!! During the lesson there was only twice really that he was actually crooked with me.. when I was taking off his saddle to go bareback and when I put him back in his paddock because all the other horses had hay and he didn't I was so proud |

I had another lesson today and I rode Duke ! It was an eventful lesson We warmed up by doing the usually things- transitions and some trot. Then we did some more trot and worked on getting our right diagonal. Then we did some sitting trot and worked on not bouncing so much out of the saddle which is hard sometimes on Duke . Then we worked on not "slamming on the brakes" when going from a trot to a walk. By this time Karen came in on Sabrina and when they were going around Sabrina gave a big buck and Karen flew off (at least thats what I think happend, i didn't see all of it). Anyway Karen was fine because she landed in snow but Sabrina took off bucking and rearing and jumping over things all around the arena. One time she even tried to roll with her saddle on but Karen screamed at her and started to run at her so she didn't.. thank god or that would be it for the saddle . So we had to cut our lesson short abit so Karen could catch her. That was fine though.. it wasn't her fault! |

Hey I read like the whole 7 page post! I was waiting for u to say u rode duke! ;D Hes the best! I love him!!!!!!  I hope u had fun!! I always do when I ride him! But I never got to ride him in a while  hopefully I get to ride him soon!!! |
