Yesterday Julia Abby and I were out riding from 12:30 till like 3:30 ... what a ride !!!! I worked on his jogging and lopeing transitions, stopping and backing . We also had alot of fun have races together , we also road in and out the road a good 4 or 5 times... lol what a nice and sunny warm day it was. I was very impressed with Youie because usually when he is with a group of horses he gets playful when haveing races but he didn't He also did not spook at any of the skidoo's, qauds, or trucks with trailers... very happy

Today I road in the paddock (finally no snow in it thanks to dad and his big loader) it was awsome we finally are able to work on some ring work. Then Julia abby and I went for a ride in the road and we could actually get onto on of the dirt roads by our house... lots of gravel to have a few gallops on. It was a little bit foggy and drizzily but oh well it was warm. Youie was very well behaved and when everyone else was tired he still wanted to run...lol silly boy.

Have'nt been riding in a long while got the flu... hopefully tommorw will be nice

Today we did a bit of paddock work.... we did a lot of jogging and we loped a few circles... and we did a lot of leg yeilding. We practiced doing the barrels and that was very fun. He was very well behaved today very happy.

Today I road for a good 2 1/2 hours. We road mostly outside of the paddock due to the mel grey clinic. We did A lot of trotting and jogging. Then after the lesson was over I went into the paddock and practiced a little bit for the shows. We did some lopeing and leg yeilding and a little bit of dressage practice ( only in the westren saddle though..lol) Then I gave him a good brush down and put him away and gave him and apple very very pleased with our workout today

He looked great today, Jessie! He didn't even blink at us coming for a visit with our horses! Thats the first time I seen him go since the shows at Beaverbrook.

Thanks for letting us use your facilities Our arena is booked all day tomorrow too

Thanks, no problem..... I know I was really surprised at him not even paying attenion to you guys... he's usually really excited to see other horses. I have been training all winter long to keep him in shape for this years show season. Hopefully he will behave in the shows and not have his moments like he usually do. lol thanks everyone

Yesterday I went for a 1 hour ride in the paddock... we focused on our trotting and jogging... and we did a lot of circles.(which he hates to do) I must say that he was very good the whole time i was riding him., considering at how windy it was and there was things blowing all around him. I gave him a good brushing and then put him away to eat his supper. very pleased at how well he is coming along. Pictures of me riding to come tomorow and maybe a vidieo

Yesterday we went for a 1 hour workout in the paddock... we did lots of lopeing in small circles to get balanced. He was very well behaved... I was surprised cause last fall he would not lope a small circle. So So Happy

Today we went for a 1 hour and 45 min ride.... we started off in the paddock doing some trotting and lopeing to calm him down a little for when we went out on our trail ride. Then me & Youie, Abby & Thunder ,and Julia & Nugget went for a trail ride we went over to heavey tree rd to Ruby mannor to see our Nan. It was very fun we had a few runs on the ride and he was preety well behaved except for the ocassional turn around that he did because of scary garbage containers...lol and his few bucks when Thunder loped pass us. Then I rode him in the paddock again we did some trotting and jogging then I cooled him out and brang him inside to brush and put away.
