Well I took a quick spin on my girlie today! Suzanne and I jetted out to Stephenville really quickly to meet up with a girl who wanted to try Fury out.

While she was riding Fury around the roundpen I tacked my girl up (english <3 ) and rode around in the rope halter. We just did a bit of walk trot, some stopping and a touch of leg yielding.

Best of all.... I think her tail may have swished twice throughout the entire ride! I know she'll probably get back into it after awhile, but it was nice to know that shes happier anyways. Even if its only temporary!

We then went for a walk (inhand) out on the road, so the girl could get a feel for Fury out in the open. My big brave girl didn't bat an eye at the cars (this being the horse who would run backwards to try to get away from approaching cars). She just seemed SO content to get out and about.

I've never been happier.

Fury was a superstar as well, Suzanne rode him while we were waiting for the girl to show up (and I was doing FAnjees feet), and he just looked like a million bucks. She did some VERY sexy turns on the haunches, ONE handed even. I wish I could have taken pictures.

Flanj was AMAZING today Jess!!!! She has come along so far!!!

WHERE DID HER TAIL GO!!! She is still a "Flappawoosa" at heart!

Jess I am IN LOVE with Fury!!! Can I have him??? I'm the horse trainer!

You're right Suzanne, I reaallly enjoyed myself yesterday. It was a much needed break from studying haha. I can't wait to finish up and get home to spend some time with them!
