So, I'm so happy with my lesson today that I have to post!!

I rode outside with Amanda and Sonny. We did great. No more being scared of my horse taking off! We rode circles everywhere outside and we even did canter circles. He tried but I caught him and pushed him on!

I'd like to thank everyone for the advice they've given me, and especially Michelle for riding him one day for me. She did a great job, and I learned a lot from watching her.

Okay so I totally failed at keeping this.
I just wanted to add that after the Canada Day Show last year, Rocky and I came home with high point in walk/jog even though we did the western just for fun! haha


So yesterday I rode outside and did some jumps. I've found myself itching to jump lately so I started back into it. They were just crossrails but Rocky was calm enough to jump them rather nicely and get his leads after.

today I worked on flat work and ended up deciding that I'm going to start working up Rocky to do flying changes and well sure enough, because my man is simply amazing, we were doing them at the end of the ride and did a three loop serpentine with flyings. I was so pleased I got off and cooled out.

also, Rocky got four feet into the trailer today! I'm so proud of him on so many levels!

Okay so today I had a lesson.

Rocky and I did a bounce to a one stride and needless to say by the end of it, we were jumping 2'9. My man is such a super star. <3
