My Dad made mine for about $50 and I love it. It has two selfs up top, a saddle rack, saddle pad rack on the side, and and 6 hooks. It fits all my stuff perfectly! Except for the fact that my mother went and painted it the ugliest color ever.. charcol grey, when i wanted it stained! lol . Its 5' tall, 2' deep and 4' wide.

Right now I just have a big rubbermaid bin ha ha. No room for a tack box as of yet. There are also cupboard/locker type constructions you can buy, they are usually metal, and have movable racks inside. It's worth a try to look at if you're not handy with a saw and plywood.

I'm going to have a sheet and 1/2 of plywood left over. you can buy it off me if you'd like kayla. i'm not making a stand up tack box anymore due to the fact Their isnt enough time unless i want to finish it over summer. so i'm making one like Nicoles.

My fiancee made this tack box for me for my birthday. It was reasonably priced, but he made it with good wood, so if you used something cheap it wouldn't be that bad.
