the show was awesome. Loved it.
The thing about Ty, is he used to be like that, and amy's mom tought him and changed him. Maybe they just thought it to be better to have Amy do it in the movies??

I only read the first two books of the series but I really enjoyed the first episode of the tv series. Will continue to watch. I love that rescued horse! Such a beauty. Anyone know in of the 'real' horse - breeding, age name etc?

I liked it. I wasn't as disappointed as I thought I was going to be. I don't remember reading about the little girl - malorie? or malory? And I don't think amy is supposed to be blonde  But it was okay. I did cry and the boys in the house were like "whhhha?" :S |

I liked it, but I have to admit the books aree so much better. They left out so many things, like Sugerfoot the mini, and since when is Ty that...idiotic? Who on earth is this Mallory person, and why on earth were Jack (the grandfather) and Val (the supposedly evil person) getting all chummy together??? I don't get it. And isn't Amy supoosed to be riding english, not western? Anybody else notice that when movies want high class, kinda prissy scenes, they show english riding? And when they want to be free and let the heart run and all that stuff, the person is riding western? Is it just me or are other people beginning to see a pattern here? |

Well she obviously does ride english too because of the jumping competitions but i get what your saying, and i dont know who Mallory is and i dont know whats going on with Jack and Val and i think Sugarfoot will come when Lou gets more into leaving heartland. I think the reason she was riding western was because it was a trail ride thingy.. i think the show will definatly grow on people once it goes on.. i mean it was only the first episode. Just my opinion |

I know...i was thinking the same... The books ARE better but i still loves the show Val is suppose to be the B*T*H in this and shes spose to HATE Heartland and everything else is true bout what u said too. Amy is suppose to be GREEN when it comes to western. But anyways i still loves the show...it was awesome. |

haha i think the reason why she rides western is because their trying to catch the culture of alberta.. now don't get me wrong i'm pretty sure there is loads of english ppl but when some ppl picture alberta it's western riding , the stampede etc.
but i loved the show it was deadly altough some things are switched around but hey i loved it !i think it's going to be deadly
