I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for all there sweet words about may.
I'm sure everyone knows she was quite old in her early thirty's and i wouldn't dought if almost everyone has ridden her at one time or another! She was a beautiful mare full of spunk and all attitude just like all Nl ponys should be!
She became sick friday evening at first we thought maybe a little colic and after a few short walks and some love she was doing great she was intrested in food and water and using the bathroom we left and randomly check on her though out the night.
By saturday morning it was obvious that there was something more going on with her. We sat with her and walked her all saturday and saturday night. After two vists from Dr.Anderson we had made the desion and 11 sunday morning May was put to sleep.Dr.Anderson Now belives that she was experiancing kidney failure and the stress of that on her body cause her to become colicy.
I want to say a special thank you to all the Rainbow girls
Nicole,joan,ash,and tasha who sat up all saturday night with may and me, I can never thank you enough.
Alysha who was never more then a phone call away ( Our girls are together again!)
And of course Dr.Anderson who was so amazing to our sweet old mare (Even thou she was not a good patient!).
