Rebekah Hayley and her horse, Bayliee's Irish Cream were on the front page of the Sports section in this past Thursday's newspaper.
I have a few pictures taken of the newspaper, because I don't have a scanner. So bear with me.
The Caption Reads: Adventure Riding Club competitor Rebekah Hayley handled Bailee's Irish Cream with care during the horse show on Sunday at the club's stables in Grand Falls-Windsor. For her efforts, Hayley scored her highest finish in the English Pleasure class with a second place.
Ashley Guy competed on I'm a Breezy Boy and recorded a first place finish in the Trail Class.
Justin Lane earned a first place finish riding Super Nova in the Halter Class at the provincial horse show held Sunday at Advnture Stables on Grenfell Heights.
Well-known local rider Dr. John Trend stood along Kjel during one part of the horse show competition on Sunday.
Left: Adventure Riding Club competitor Lucas Stuckless finished in second place in the Trail Class on Desert Sand.
Local riders, their horses and a horse owner who were involved in the Grand Falls-Windsor Horse Show over the weekend included: Vicki Mercer, owner and rider Sabrina Stuckless, Dust in the Wind; Amanda Wright, Fiery Tia; Carly Hutchings, Callisto; Heather Butler, Out of the Mist; Sarah Hayden, Dreams Come True; Rebekah Hayley, Bayliee's Irish Cream; Justin Lane, Super Nova and Lucas Stuckless, Desert Sand.
I was so happy when I seen the show being advertised in the newspaper. It's so great to get the public awareness out there. I hope this continues throughout all the horse riding years and I hope it grows to be a more popular event.
The two main titles were:
Galloping Success
Adventure Riding Club puts off fablous horse show.
Riders soak up the horse show spotlight
There were results there, I'll post them if anyone's interested.
