I am in the process of organizing a Newfoundland Dressage Club which would be affiliated with Equine Canada and Dressage Canada. I've been told that there was a CADORA a long time ago, but has since closed. Dressage seems to be getting fairly popular out here and the time seems right to reintroduce a new organization.
This club will be an active club with different activities on a fairly frequent basis, including clinics, seminars, shows, demonstrations etc. I will be posting a date and time in the near future for our first meeting.
Are there people out there who would be interested in joining this club? I'd like to see what the interest level is like. From the people I've already spoken to it sounds like this is going to be a great organization!! I'm really excited about this and I hope you guys are too. Stay tuned for date and time of the first official meeting!

I'm sure that Clovelly would love to participate in something like this, however don't quote me on that. I will speak for myself however and say that I'd love to be involved in and organized and committed program like CADORA.

Yes of course, all levels welcome. This club is open to everyone, individuals. This isn't an organization that is open to just specific barns. This is open to ALL individuals who are interested in developing and furthering the sport of dressage in our community. If you are someone who is interested, we hope that you will join. I've had fantastic response already from Dressage Canada and their assistance in recruiting National level coaches who are willing to travel to NL to teach. My email is literally overflowing with positive response for our new, soon to be club!
I am planning on holding the first meeting in the next few weeks. Will keep everyone posted. :-)

Just wanted to point out that Dressage Canada and Cadora are two completely separate groups. I would suggest going with dressage canada because they are the national group affiliated with Equine Canada. Also contact Chris Gallant as the NEA may be able to help out too.

The club is going to be affiliated with Dressage Canada although the actual CADORA club is also a National club as well.
I've been in touch with Dressage Canada.
