For horse week, I decided to organize a huge trail ride for our central riders!
When: June 9th
Where: Livery Stables (Grenfell Heights)
Time: 2:00pm

*EDIT: Kathie Lane is organizing a trail ride for horse week so I decided we can all go on that one instead!

way to steal/post my idea andrea! "i think all us riders should get together and have a big trail ride or sumthin...like meet in grand falls or something" haha and you wanted to have wagon rides pffft who wouldn't wanna take their horse on a trail ride! but anyways i'm taking Dream, so anyone around this area who would like to use a pony star is up for grabs!

Great girls, i hope you register it online, last year newfoundland was in the top for more events across canada. We want to beat that this year.

I know but I still think she would appreciate permission. Just ask her I know she will say yes. But still ask "just in case". They might have somthing on the go with the cows or something.

sounds like a good idea, but where do you plan on going ?
there are no trails around here, the only really good trail is the one across the road from kathies and that only leads to the track bed and to get there you have to go through like 5 feet of mud :/
sooo .. but i dont know if you already have somewhere planned ??

i say we go on the tracks somewhere. even if we all have to meet somewhere else where we can get to the tracks.

One thing about the tracks, make sure your horses can handel quads and stuff. But if they can the tracks are a good idea cause you can go like forever  Well not forever but you can go as far as you want to. |

well the tracks are really the only place to go isnt it? like as in a good trail....it has to be a nice long trail for it to be worth me trailering my horses in to go.

Yeah they are the only place. We suck for trails. As long as she is ok with a quad here and there passing you shouldn't have a problem.

yeah, and also make sure you have shoes on!
all the track bed is , is hugeeee rocks, like not sand, but rocks. Thats why we never ride on the track bed, too hard on horses hoofs !
