It's whichever division you feel most comfortable showing in! So either one, I guess!

No, Jumpers here won't go over 3'3", atleast not this year. I tried for a 3'6" class but it was felt at this time that the class should be kept to a max height of 3'3".

3'3 is a good height I think. The're are alot of people getting into the jumping and jumper, so the lower heights and 3'3 look great!

Yes but in the future it would be nice to hope that eventually class heights on the island will exceed 3'3". Maybe not this year, but certainly something to aspire for.

Defintly, but we need te people who can jump that height as well, and the horses too!
I'll stick with my low jumps for now!

Yes but no one is going to bother to aim for that height if the classes don't exist. It definitely wouldn't be something for this year, or even next year, but hopefully sometime we can hope to move up! Anyways this is getting a tad off topic so let's (myself included!) try to get back on track

I agree with you Sarah...we need to push the limits in Newfoundland! No one will ever step up and start jumping 3'6, 3'9, 4', 4'6 etc if we never give them the option to do so!
Just something I need clarified (maybe it has been mentioned I didnt read every post fully)
Do you only get the points for the division if you ride all the classes in that division?

Yes. If your ride the two hunter o/f and the under saddle you get the points.
But you cant go over fences unless you sign up for under saddle, and vise versa.
same for western/hacks... if you choose to only do Show hack you do not get the points, you need to enter all three of the hack classes, the whole division!
no points for doing only reining, but you get your points for doing all three 'reining' classes (stockseat, reining, adn freestyle!)
make sence?
