in the past two weeks ive been kinda laying low and not doing much cuz of being sick ... so one day kathie (barn owner, teacher...) came to vist me and we were looking through these old horse megs ... even thou they were old theyre still good... and one article was on how to despook your horse... so we started thinking that in the spring/summer when the arnea is good again that well put off this clinic with all these new things to get the horses use to... itd be like a full day thing .... some of the things included where like having extra large beach balls and slowly introduce them to it and having a large bag filled with empty cans and what not.... so anyone got any ideas for it or be intressted?

I read in a book that riders got their horses to walk over old matresses...to bombproof them... ;Dand I guess it built the horses trust in the rider as well...

Sounds like fun! I love doing that kind of stuff with Willow. Depending on when you do it, I might be able to haul Willow out for it (and of course, I have room for one more, lol).

shelly we dont have no dates set or anything yet so once me n kathie starts planning the stuff ill let you know so that we can book it a weekend that you guys can get out

lol last summer at crs sox was in cross ties and started freaking out, we were all trying to figure out what was going on with him and then saw a huge beach ball rolling around in the arena.aww silly sox
ive downloaded a complete book on bombproofing your horse and in it they get the horse to walk over tarp and to de sensitize it they take a pole and rub it all over the horse.
