Hey, For anybody interested, there is going to be a three day Equinextion barefoot trimming clinic on PEI. The clinician is Lisa Huhn, and you can get all kinds of info on her at her website, www.equinextion.com/index.html. The cost is $300/horse/person ($100/additional horse/person) or $200 to audit for the weekend. There are some stalls for horses if people would like to trailer their horse in for the weekend. There are also a few horses on location that are really good to trim that people could use for their "own" horse to practice trimming on. The date will be March 9 - 11. If you want more info, email Kelly at kasnowdon@hotmail.com . And if anybody here does want to go, I also reeeaally want to go, so we can maybe all hook up and share traveling expenses too. And I know I could hook up some free human and horse accomodations there as well...

Definitely think about it, because she is really great, and I REALLY want to go, but I don't think I'd be able to without sharing travel costs with somebody. And think about it as that's the same, or less, amount of money you would normally be spending on farrier costs over a year, or even just a few months depending on what the farrier costs are and what you're doing. ;D
