Just thought I'd let everyone know (well anyone who will read this) that the clinic went REALLY well this past weekend. I would recommend everyone coming out to the next one if they have the chance because you really do learn a lot and take a lot away from the clinic, even if you're just auditing.
Kathryn really makes sure that she explains what she's teaching and I know that everyone came away from this clinic with a lot of motivation to continue riding and develop everything they knew before, and what they learned in just 2 days. I know that Goose and I will be working really hard for the next clinic because it felt so good to accomplish so much in that short amount of time.
Honestly guys, $10 is CHEAP for what you'll learn in the clinic. Plus, it's nice to have people from other barns come to these clinics!!!

I think it would be nice if they opened these types of clinics to all riders, so everyone can benifit from her teaching. You get so much more from a clinic when your in it, and the coach can help you with issues that deal specifcally with your horse.

This clinic was open to all types of riders. I know that when I was in a semi with Shannyn last time she mentionned she had previously been stricktly h/j, and Robyn Kennedy has just been working on "flat" with Sabrina, and as have I with Goose. The clinic was open to all who could attend with the space provided.. Plus, even with a minimum amount of space, the clinic would benefit people of all disciplines. That's why I'm saying I wished more people had come out, and would consider coming to the next. It was a great deal of help to me, as well as everyone else who attended. Even though Kathryn is a dressage coach, I have a young horse that she's helped me to guide now, and that also goes for Susan and Robyn. And moreover, Sarah Barron has gone in the clinic with no discipline really specified. Plus, I believe that having basics in all disciplines really helps to perfect the discipline at which you chose to train. I know that the ADDC (Atlantic Dressage Development Centre) in NS held a hunter/jumper clinic there last winter when myself, Susan and Samantha were there.. Even though the students there rider mainly dressage, they went in this clinic for several different reasons I'm sure. It's just a matter of interest I guess. And I was just hoping to pop a bit of interest in everyone!! Anyways, I would prefer not to have this turn into something negative, as I was just trying to get a positive word out about the available clinics. Hopefully it will be more convienient for everyone next time Kathryn Fraser comes down, so that you can all see for yourselves!! (And of course see myself and Goose in action!) ;D

(it was only open to clovelly, right ) Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm pretty hunter/jumper myself, but seeing I have a young, green mare, Kathryn was great help to set me on my way with continuing the basics with her until she's ready to take on some fences. I learned alot from the clinic in November, and unfortunitly had to sit this one out due to Sabrina being off. So, like Biz mentioned, the clinic is an awesome way of soaking up some more information, we all know you never stop learning when it comes to our horses! ;D EDIT: Elizabeth Barry, I have to mention how AWESOME Gooseman looked when I stopped in for a minute. I was super impressed! He's really comming along, girl! Keep it uppp
