Does anyone know if there are any local competative trail ride organizations in the area of St. John's?

Centaur held a CTR in October I think? Well anyways, I was in it with Beau, we came 5th, which isn't so bad. : ) I'd said get in touch with someone from Centaur to show your intrest.  |

I rode in it also, and I think it had more to do with Dixie H stables than Centaur. Your best bet is probally getting ahold of Gail Hansford. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again next year ! (don't wanna give up the trophy though..haha) |

ya we (Dixie H Farm) had one in september that was better then we thought would be. We are hoping to get more of these on the go for next year and maybe a club in the future...we are hoping to have a meeting this month sometime after we get the hay done....and sarah could you drop the tophy off to me someday to get your name put on it?

I know there are alot of people on the west coast who are also interested in an organised trail association, and competitive trail rides. I can guarantee that had we known the date for the CTR in october there would have been atleast a few people out!

if there are more competitve trail rides, so long as they aren't before Christmas I will be there! There could easily be a club- like they could have one in the Goulds for Equine M, SOuthern Cross, and Dixie H., one in the East for Cloverdale, Clovelly, and Kings, and one out in central. Then they could have a "championship" race for the whole province and vote on a location each year or something!
Boy do I love trail rides!

its great that there is so many people interested in this...when we first thought of this we were afraid that no one would enter it next year i hope we have 2 or 3 that would be great!
