Because people don't usually ride side saddle on a trail ride, and competive one at that. Not saying there's anything wrong with it, I'm just saying it would be kinda funny, knowing that side saddle is also not big here at all.

Unless you're Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider, or the Queen, I don't believe anyone rides side saddle seriously!! Lol*
I wish me and Goose could go, but even if he wasn't off right now, I think it would be traumatic for him. Going off Clovelly property on a trail ride is too much for him, let alone in competition!! Maybe next year! I'll definitley come out and see what's going on though

In Erin in Ontario they had a side-saddle clinic! I watched it. It was pretty cool and the woman teaching it asked me if I wanted to get on her horse but I couldn't cause I had the baby. The horse was albino, I remember that much. haha. That was the only place I saw someone ride side saddle in my whole life.

Even though it's off topic, and I've mentionned it before.. Goose is off because me&him did a somersault about a week and a half ago.. he just tripped and fell to his knees and then flipped over. He also got a nasty cut from his feild so that didn't help either. I rode today though, and he seems to be sound, so for now, we're just going to take it easy.
Good luck to everyone in the trail ride. Like I said, I'm pumped to come watch.
What exactly do you have to do in the trailride??
