To anyone who's interrested King's Ranch is planning a fox hunt and end of show season and potluck. Were hoping to have it the weekend after NEA banquet, on the Sunday, but that's not confurmed yet
Were just in the planning stages now but the "hunt" will consist of "foxes" running around the fields and we will have to chace them down. (by the way we need volunteers to be the victims... er I mean foxes)
It's basically going to be a 2 hour trail ride, with lots of fields to chase around a bunch of people dressed like foxes.
The cost will be a potluck item, so all you really have to pay is the trailering costs. Or if you want a stall for the night it's $10, if your only comming for the day will find some place to stuff your pony.
Right not we just want to see if there is enough interest to pull this off, and even if you don't want to take a horse up, bring some food and join in for the Potluck. ( BYOB )
It will be a fun way to say good bye to the 2005 show season, and get together for a good time and a bit of fun. Anyone at all interrested PM me or leave a message, there will be more info comming as soon as we plan it all out.
cheers

Beau's gonna go nuts in the fields I guess I'll have to start training. Will there be ..obstacles I guess? Fences..rock walls..ditches? Anythin of that sort? Can we take our horse there a few days beforehand? I'd like to take Beau there a few days before to get him used to it. I can ride him there as well so he'd need some time to rest. This is exciting!!!!

You guys are more then welcome to come a few days early, stalls are $10 a night, as for obtacles we hadn't planed on any,But feel free to play on the cross country course. It's gonna be more like a giant trail ride, with big open fields to charge on the "foxes" we wanted to do this as kinda a good by to the show season, with a no charge ride, because show fees are what detures a lot of people from comming out to participate in events. Just bring a nice potluck item. And i'm still looking for victims we can slaught..... I mean "foxes" we can "hunt" None of the details are worked out yet, I just wanted to throw the Idea out to everyone to see if the fish will bite. And since you all sound so excited I'll start on the planing. Let me know if you are defently interrested in comming that will give me a rough Idea of how many to expect. And remember you don't have to bring a horse, just bring a potluck item and join us for lunch
cheers

I'm positive I'm coming to this. A nice big trail and a bit of a ...fox hunt.. would be lots of fun. And I'm definatly up for taking Beau for a look around the ccc. Let me know how many days in advance I can take my pony up. I was hoping to have him there 3-4 days beforehand so I can make the most out of the actual ride. I don't want my boy going nuts when I'm trying to have a good time with everyone. And supply your own hay right? Got that covered! Ahhhh! This is exciting!!! HOpe to hear more details soon. I'll definatly bring a good bit of something for the potluck!

Quick correction on the cost of over night board, it's $15 not $10 sorry my bad. Feel free to bring them up any time you like, stay for the month if you want. I just conformed the dates with Lesely, it's going to be Sunday the 13th, and as for foxes Lesely volunteered Jason, and mabey we can convience Courtney to volunteered Curtis (without him knowing of course) Jason might be able to drag some of his buddies out to be foxes for us that way everyone can ride. If that's the case mabey everyone can chip in a buck and we can buy them beer for letting us chase them around. Nothing's definate yet I'll post more info as soon as I plan it out, there are no entry forms, just call myself or Lesely and let us know your comming Lesely 691-0546 Danielle 727-0999
