Well I was going to go in Regular, but due to extentuating circumstances we're in advanced now, so I'm doing pleasure, trail, command, horsemanship and equitation.

I was going to do equitation..but you have to use a curb and ride with one hand..no matter how old your horse is..and Red isn't ready for a curb yet. Im off to the barn now to load up my stuff, and take Reddy out to Colins. He has to learn trail, and how to canter before saturday.

He was being a tool all week, I shld of known better then to take him out, he just wasen't his self.. So in the warm up he was like a freight train, wouldn't pick up his leads, and he was just really crooked with it all, and completly not into it..so I just brought him back down to colins and rode him there, then headed back up to watch the show.
No idea how most people did, but Colin got 3 firsts on Monty in the 3 classes he went in, and he got a third in Trail on Cruz, and Im not sure how he did on Oscar, not that great I dont think because Oscar went lame halfway through the show..poor fella.

As for placing, we didn't do particularly well, but that wasn't even a concern for me. I'm just so proud of Thunder because he was so well behaved. Basically he was doing as well as he can do at this point with the amount of training he has and the amount of work that's being done with him. In other words he was giving a 110% and that's what matters for me whether we place 4th or 1st.
Hahaha, we kinda lost our brakes in command and the barrels in trail, after banging into them, were kinda scary and frustrating, but other than that, he was wonderful.
Chelsey, Colin and Al (the others in my division) all did an awesome job. Everyone in the show was great, they all deserve to be congratulated.
