Still looking for the right person for my boy Red.
Options could be a free lease where you take him to your barn and assume the cost of him, or he is free to a good, experienced home, on the condition that if you decide you no longer want him he comes back to me for free.
Another option...a leaser, full lease would be $300, half lease would be $200, and a 1/4 lease would be $150.
Red is 11 years old, barefoot, trained basics in english and western and can do turn on the haunches and some other lateral work. Solid walk and jog but needs work on lope.
Loves to work and has been shown in the past. Trailers well, nothing really bothers him. He requires an EXPERIENCED rider, and someone who can further his training. He would excel with someone practicing natural horsemanship, Clinton Anderson, etc.
All tack available, as well as a brand new riding arena with nice footing. Red is located in the Goulds at a private facility with one other horse. He is 14.3 hands high and 900 pounds, and is a quarter horse cross.
He would be an ideal companion and trail horse, gets along great with other horses, lives on 24/hour turnout, and requires no grain. He recently had his teeth floated and all vaccines up to date.
Excellent opportunity for the right person, lessons also available.

Where is he staying too? Off topic, why an experienced rider? Reason I am wondering is because I see a lot of posts where people want others experienced. I don't understand why no one has taken this boy! He is beautiful.

He's fairly green and hasent been ridden much in the past 4 years. He isnt suitable for a child, or somebody who has no experience training and working with a green horse.
Several people have inquired about him, but they do not want to sign the contract stating they cannot sell him. I don't want somebody getting my horse for free...and then selling him to make a few bucks.
