R.I.P

My cat Rusty. He was only two years old He had trouble peeing today so Mom took him to the vet about an hour ago. When Mom came back, the cat didn't. I just thought that maybe he was staying the for a few days.. But Mom told me that she had to put him down. Turns out he was bleeding on the inside. Or something like that. There was nothing that could be done to help him. Nothing could make him better only temporarily. So he was put down And even though we didn't get along sometimes I miss him



What happens when you lose something you love?
I cry and wonder why,
I think about the times we had,
The times we played,
The times he did a little trick,
And made me laugh,
Those times that he'd jump up in the air,
And do anything I wanted for a treat,
The time he got stuck in the basement ceiling,
Because he was after a mouse,
I miss my cat,
I miss him a lot,
But then I am reminded he'll always be here,
In my heart,
No matter how many years pass,
The memories shall never fade,
No matter how much time may go on,
I always used to call him a beast,
Now all I ask is that he may rest in peace.
