Hard to say from a photo. I wish I had known I would have taken a look for you, just for another set of eyes/opinion!
I haven't dealt with mud fever in a few years (thankfully Cativa isn't prone to it, despite the white foot!) but it just doesn't seem right.... the patches seem small and too high, especially if she doesn't have it around her fetlocks, know what I mean?
Now I'm curious as to what it could possibly be, if its not mud fever. Not to say it ISNT, I'm definitely not a vet or trained in the equine medical field, I'm just a bit skeptical based on personal experience!

It scabbed and peeled exactly how mud fever is supposed to, including the loss of hair and the inflammation under the scab. She may have it around her fetlocks, it's just difficult to tell as it's more feathery there and I don't tend to dig my finger into the groove to check. I'm going to at least shave the feathers off over the weekend to see if I can get a closer look.
